Congratulations! You have arrived at the 2011 edition
of the Cornfield
Review: Online. CR: Online showcases creative work
in the areas of digital media, graphic design, illustration, writing,
and photography.
Even though most of our submissions come from students,
staff, and faculty situated on the OSU Marion and Marion Technical
College campus,
we're
interested in showcasing the work of area artists and writers from
all over the Central Ohio region (so send in yours today!).
This edition includes an ecclectic array of visual,
aural and video work. We have photographer Mark Tomsic's Cindy Sherman-esque
critique of celebrity in "Highway to Hell." Sarabeth Mull gives us
a witty take on the trials and tribulations of the dating life in
Marion, Ohio with her audio essay "First
Dates." Dennis Millisor
and Zachary Wheeler pay homage to the great David Bowie in their
sweded version of his classic song and video, "Space
Oddity."
And by now a staple feature of CR: Online,
our Lightbox section includes several inspiring examples of digital
photography and artwork created primarily by the talented
people on the OSU Marion/MTC campus.
We encourage you to send us any questions, feedback, requests, suggestions, or even submissions that you might have. Feel free to contact Ben McCorkle, via email (that's always the easiest), at mccorkle.12@osu.edu.
