Welcome to the 2023 edition of Cornfield Review: Online. This publication is the digital media “insert” for Cornfield
Review, the literary journal of The
Ohio State University at Marion. Per usual, you'll find in this edition our regular
Lightbox feature showcasing the landscape and fashion photography
of Haily Simeral and Katie Vela, respectively. Also, you can soar with the eagles (virtually, of course) as you witness a pair of impressive drone video edits from recent Ohio State Marion grad Doryan Miller. And finally, the annual winner of the Ohio State Marion Digital Media Composition Award is again featured in this year's edition: this year, the accolade goes to Karle Marlatt and Hayden Smith for their spooooky (but also hilarious) faux podcast episode, "Eerie Erie."
CR: Online
showcases creative work in the areas of digital media,
graphic design, illustration, writing, and photography.
Although most of our submissions come from students, staff,
and faculty situated on the OSU Marion and Marion Technical
College campus, we're interested in showcasing the work of
area artists and writers from all over the Central Ohio
region. We encourage you to send us any and all of your
questions, feedback, requests, suggestions, and especially
submissions. Feel free to contact Ben McCorkle via email: mccorkle.12@osu.edu.
