Welcome to the 2012 Cornfield Review: Online.
Because of OSU's move to semesters (and with that, a truncated summer
and
less time to curate), this edition is a little lighter than usual,
but no less interesting. Here, in addition to our regular Lightbox feature
(featuring artwork and photography primarily from the OSUM/MTC campus),
we are highlighting a wonderful essay entitled "Losing
My Religion" by
Columbus State-Delaware student Christopher Tkach, complete with
an audio excerpt. Additionally, Deb Noll's
film
trilogy,
originally
a series of assignments for a recent film course, was selected for
the inaugural OSU Marion Digital Media Composing Award. We have showcased
the Hitchcock-inspired collection here.
CR: Online showcases creative work in the areas of digital
media, graphic design, illustration, writing, and photography. Although
most of our subSmissions come from students, staff, and faculty situated
on the OSU Marion and Marion Technical College campus, we're interested
in showcasing the work of area artists and writers from all over
the Central Ohio region. We encourage you to send us any and all
of your questions, feedback, requests, suggestions, and especially
submissions. Feel free to contact Ben McCorkle, via email at mccorkle.12@osu.edu.
